Paper and Print Quality

Every print in this collection is produced on Fuji Matt C-Type archival paper, 231gsm — the same silver halide fine art paper used by galleries and museums for long-term display work. It has a matt finish with subtle texture and slightly muted blacks, which suits the tonal quality of my images.

Under normal display conditions, these prints have a rated archival life of 100+ years. Prints displayed in direct sunlight will fade faster.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), signed and numbered by me. The COA travels with the print and is what makes it a proper collectable piece rather than a mass-produced product.

If you're ever selling, gifting, or transferring a print, the COA moves with it.

Print Sizes and Framing

Prints are available in four sizes: Small = A4 (21×30cm), Medium = A2 (42×59cm), Large = A1 (59×84cm), and Extra Large (70×100cm). Each print includes a white printed border around the image, sized proportionally to the print.

Framing is available in solid wood frames, black or white, with standard glass and a white passepartout mount. For full size specifications, including framed dimensions, please see the Sizing Guide

Sustainability and Carbon-Neutral Printing

The prints are sustainably packaged and carbon-neutral from end to end. This is made possible by the work of my print studio partner, The Print Space, who have inspected every stage of their printing and shipping process to reduce carbon impact.

Difference Between a Poster and an Art Print

Posters are typically printed in large quantities on lightweight paper to keep costs low. They wrinkle easily and tend to fade within a few years.

The art prints in this shop are printed on Fuji Matt C-Type archival paper, 231gsm, high-quality silver halide fine art paper rated for 100+ years of archival display life. Every print is signed, numbered, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Cost of Prints

The price of each climbing print reflects the artisanal process behind creating and editing the image, the archival print quality, and the carbon-neutral production and shipping. It's not the cheapest option, but I stand behind every element of how these prints are made.
