A season of World Cup climbing seen from the photographers' pit.
MgCO3 vol. 2 is the 2022 annual: seven events across six countries, shot from the positions only accredited photographers reach. Isolation, warm up, the seconds before a final, and the faces afterwards. Athletes at the top of the sport, photographed as people rather than as results.
Includes full coverage of two Paraclimbing World Cups, rarely documented at this level.
Jan Virt is the official photographer for the World Climbing circuit. 216 pages, full color.
